window atc

did this for an atc challenge. the window was punched out using a small creative memories punch. then added a strip colored in brown using pop dots to extend it from the window. between that I put some flowers by rubber stamp tapestry and cut out around them. added a dragonfly brad and a saying by stampin up colored in a navy blue. (i used a lot of companies there didn't I? lol) layered on another piece of brown

lousy picture but I almost forgot to take one and took a quick shot with my phone before it went in the mail. The stamp is by close to my heart. You can't really see it but it is colored with gel pens.

Happiness is Atc

Did this for a swap and really didn't care for my first shot at the happiness is theme (above) a picture of my puppy and some stickers and jewels. so just had to do another one and I like it much more.


Done with a piece of chipboard under a layer of metal. Burnished and then a punched heart and some vellum sayings.

musical atc

I love this stamp set and I don't remember where the heck I got it. Its an unmounted set and I bought it many years ago when my son started playing drums. Its very hard to find drum stuff don't you know. Everyone wants to be the singer or guitarist so that is what they sell. well HELLO you can't have a band without a beat so the drummer is really the heart of the group. Love ya son!!!

I added a little color and lots of little cutting and mounted to white. Pop dotted the guitarist and keyboard player and added a few punched musical notes. I just love how this turned out. hopefully my atc partner likes it as well.

A new year and a new goal

for 2010 my goal is to be a better craft blogger and to finish more projects. Mainly finish more projects. Lord knows I have enough of them.


to start the year off a picture of a birthday ATC I did for my atc group called AtcsUsa-International. Its a small group and our swaps are not a huge commitment. Usually ONE a month yep ONE you get one back and you send one. But we send them all over the world sometimes. Its a great group of gals. if ATC's interest you come check us out on yahoo groups.

anyhow Its a bad picture I almost forgot to snap a shot before I sent them off so got my point and shoot out to shoot it. The atc uses one of my favorite stamps the monkey. I love that little guy from Rubber Soul and the balloons I found by amuse are perfect with him. The words are by Stampin up.


So I hope you join me for more shares. my goal is to post at least 4 times a week.

sunsflowers well kind of

I didn't have a sunflower stamp (shocking I know) and I goobered a bit by the smile but I liked the idea of putting the buttons in the middle of the flower to make them look more like sunflowers.

purses and hat atc

aDone with a stampin up set this atc is actually purple but my little point and shoot didn't shoot it very well.

leave atc

did this atc for a yellow swap. the leave is a chipboard leave stamped on then covered with crystal effects or dimensional magic.

womens rights atc

Did this for an atc swap. We had to do a historica event. I chose woman's rights. the only stampin is the girl. part of a stampin up stamp

scotty atc

Did this for a scotty dog swap. the background is done with a the cuttlebug. A trick I learned from my stampin up demo was to ink up one side of the embossing folder then put down paper and run through big shot or cuttlebug. gives the dimension some color. the scotty dog is a quickkuts die cut. and stamped a paw I think PSX and the words are Penguin Pants Rubber stamps. Not sure where to get the little bone paperclip it was a gift from hubby.

bi fold italian atc

made two of these and used for two different one on one swaps. one was Italian themed the other was bi fold. Basic stamping and some sponging in different colors.

Bird atc

I absolutely love these birds. They are a stamp by a stamp in the hand as is the branches in the background.

I direct colored the stamp and then placed on glossy paper. did the same for the leaves and then did some sponging.

asian atc

Couldn't make up my mind which I liked better so ended up making 3. dream impression and stampin up stamps

Red atc

Did this for a red atc swap (hope they don't see this post) the background has some writing unknown stamp. added some penguin pants rubber stamps butterflies (remember those from the woven card) and found a couple of these flowers that I embossed in white and colored the back. added a red rhinestone on the flower that doesn't show up well in the photo and then a bow.

atc lady

I did this atc for a swap with the theme of women in it. the stamp is pretty intricate and comes across a little blurry. but I love it.


After adding the words I thought it needed some sparkle so added a few little bitty gems. The background paper was a scrap of some blue glossy paper that I had and it really added to it.

atc's

what is an ATC. Its an Artist Trading Card. The most basic rule is size which is 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. For more information Art in your Pocket site:

I have done a few of them. Well maybe more then a few. Many swaps some HUGE some one on one. Some of the swaps I have been the alphabet, the states, colors, and a triptych.





Most are kept in a 3 ring binder and then I use baseball card page protectors to show them off. The book is above and as you can see its full. and below is one of the pages. This happens to be part of the alphabet swap I did and these are some of my pages. I have other swappers atc's in there as well
I have a select few that I keep in a partially unfinished atc book that stampin up use to sell. Not sure if they still sell it or not. But it is a cardboard covered binder the size just slightly bigger then an atc but will hold a special 3 page protector. I keep the atc's from a group I am in called ATCsUSA-International as well as a few other individual ones that I have done. Its a yahoo group and we do one on one swaps. I can't get the link to work right but if you plug in that name at www.yahoogroups.com you will find it. We have a great group of people from all over the world and its a low stress swap. check us out

Lastly another ATC from my alphabet swap. This is the O for owl (stampin up) and a ouija board stamp (unknown)



I don't have any pictures but another idea is you can use the ATC as a part of a card sort of the highlight of the card.

aqua atc

well not the best picture but my camera is in the shop to be cleaned so hopefully it will be done tomorrow. did this atc for a aqua atc swap. I love that stamped image in the middle one of my favorites.

moonlight fairies

not the best photo serves me right for clicking it and running out the door to mail it off with out checking it first. oh well life goes on.

Stamps are by close to my heart. I embossed in black then colored with stampin up markers. then punched out a circle and used the excess to sponge the moon. then sponged the moons rays onto the other fairy. then put the circle on the moon as a mask and sponged dark blue on the rest of the atc.
