Snowman for a friend

In one of my stamp clubs we had a member that loved snowman and we loved our Ginny. A few years ago she passed away from colon cancer and her sister that is still in our club hosts this swap every year. its a favorite because of the memory it brings back for everyone and we love to honor her this way.

The snowman is cut with the cricut with a light blue shadow done as well. Markers were used to color in the parts on the snowman. He is pop dotted (I told you I am obsessed with them) on red. A cuttlebug folder was used on white and both the blue background and the punched red corners were made by taking stamp pads and running them over the top of the embossed background.

Only had to make 14 of these, haha but it was a labor of love. Once you get the parts made and the first one put together its a snap after that you just run an assembly line and before you know it they are all done.

pink flowers

hmmm does this look familiar?? well it should I used something like it just a few days ago. Did this for a pink card swap. Pink is not my color of choice but I do like how this turned out.

I used the cuttlebug for the background but first stamped the words (stampin up) on it. the punched frame is a 3 x 3 frame. the inside frame are peg stamps by Rubber Stamp tapestry.

flower

Did this for a cotm swap. I hadn't used these stamps by CTMH so figured it was a good time. I had the cuttlebug background done from a previous card I made.

Two things its pink and has a bow I must have been working with my alter ego that day. lol

cuttlebug weave spring thoughts

Did this for one of the card of the month challenges I am in. The inside pink (yes I really did use pink) are done with two different embossing folders then cut into 1/2 inch strips. Used my coluzzle to cut out the circle to put over the weaves.

This really made me think of spring and I needed that today

The outside butterflies are by Penguin Pants Rubber stamps.
words by hero arts.

christmas candle

I had a hard time photographing this because of the shinny paper I used behind it but I think i finally got it.

Unknown image it was for a point of view challenge. I colored with sparkle copics. Cut out around the edges and added a little color to the edges. pop dotted onto this thin shinny paper that I ran through my cuttlebug. then added some punched holly and used the shinny paper again for the berries.

Tried to get a picture of how the sparkle copics make it look but wasn't very successful. They really add to the whole image.

cuttlebug christmas

done as a geometric challenge for a virtual stamp night. there is very little stamping here except the saying. that saying is so old it is a stampin up stamp that is on foam. lol

the background is cuttlebugged on vellum. I love this look by the way. then did a sheet of red shinny paper with the cuttlebug and cut out the little shapes added some brads and mounted.
