I had some left overs so I made a couple of my own designs. I think I like the top one most of all.
I did a card class with my ctmh demo these are two of the cards we did.
The background is pretty cool. we used 3 stamps one diamond that is solid an outline and then in the top card there are smaller diamonds inside. we also used some punch outs for the flowers. not crazy about them but they were fun. Also the base was actually a cut up 9 x 9 scrap page

did this at my ctmh demo's house and I knew I just had to give it to my husband for his birthday. the hearts and key are stamped and cut out. I added the leafy swirl stamp to the patterned paper because I thought it would be look good.
hmmm does this look familiar?? well it should I used something like it just a few days ago. Did this for a pink card swap. Pink is not my color of choice but I do like how this turned out.

I haven't used much patterned paper before to make cards but with this class from my ctmh demo I really like what we did.
I earned this set in January from ctmh and my demo shannon had a class on cards and scrapbook pages. this is one of the cards. the blue/green background is a paper by ctmh everything else is stamped. I love this set the artistic looking swirls and stuff will come in very handy.
Last card from my stampin up card class. Can I just say this paper is sooo awesome. It has an awesome texture and I think this is why I love this paper so much. I really wasn't fond of this tree set maybe because I couldn't get it to stamp right even with the darn stamp a ma jig.
this was a totally fun card. I absolutely love this border punch too. We made two of these cards. One without dry embossing on the background paper and one with. below is a close up of the punch and the embossing.
Use a 3 x 3 square to create this punched frame. Have you seen your stampin up demo lately?? if not better giver her a call she may just have something new to show you.
another card from my stampin up card class. The cupcake bottom is crimped, I haven't used my crimper in years I think. It was good to use it again. I love how she shows us how to use many of the things we have sitting in my drawer.
the best part of this card is the little surprise that the brad helps with. so very clever.
went to a card class at my stampin up demonstrators (sharon) house and we made 8 cards 4 different designs. this is one of the cards. well we varied the second card a bit. I love how she comes up with some of the best ideas.
