christmas in the summer

did this for a card club class.

I bought the stamp at the urging of my husband while in Vegas at the viva las vegas store.  he loves Santa's.  simply stamped added a little color to his cheeks.  sponged the outside then added the holly leaves on this card I punched little red circles for the berries but on another card I used stickle paint and really liked that. I also added a greeting on on ther sample. On this sample which you can't see well I added some liquid glass on the glasses.

Santa by viva las vegas
holly by stamp in the hand

window atc

did this for an atc challenge. the window was punched out using a small creative memories punch. then added a strip colored in brown using pop dots to extend it from the window. between that I put some flowers by rubber stamp tapestry and cut out around them. added a dragonfly brad and a saying by stampin up colored in a navy blue. (i used a lot of companies there didn't I? lol) layered on another piece of brown

straight on this doesn't photograph well so at an angle you can get a good appreciation to this card. done with a couple different texture plates and some shimmer put on it. done at a stampin up card class with my favorite stampin up demo sharon she has the best ideas.

i love sponging I think its my favorite thing to do. did this for a women's swap. stamped images by close to my heart in black, sponged with yellow, added some stencil punching (I made the stencils using stampin up punches) and the slide that has the words live fast and stay pretty. You can't see it but there is some sparklies in there too that were added.

aquarium room card

This card will fold down to mail and was a royal pain the rear to make. First I had troubles with the glossy paper making the stamped images look faded after only one day. getting them to stand up was a challenge

i liked adding the clear acetate to the front.

but in the end I like how it turned out
