As promised these are the two cards I did at my stampin up club meeting. Spring is in the air this is for sure.

easter goodies

I love my stampin up demonstrator she always comes up with great ideas. Our monthly club meeting we did these two projects along with a couple cards which I will share with you tomorrow. I didn't write down the instructions to this Little basket sorry.


This was a little matchbook treat holder. I had some challenges with it since the little gummy chick I had was a bit FAT. I squished and squished it but didn't get much of it down.

Note to self use a smaller treat next time.
But this was way to cute I had never seen these before.

Dogs

I made this card because it reminded me of my dog Duncan. he is a west highland white terrier. He is like my child and in many ways way more spoiled then a child.

I love the westie breed. Our first westie lived to be 17 1/2 he was an amazing dog. He turned several people from dog haters to dog owners.
This is a picture of Duncan when he was a pup and our "OLD MAN" storm. It wasn't much longer after this that we had to put him down. That day I think Duncan knew that Storm wasn't feeling right. Instead of playing and running around and harassing storm he just went over side him and layed next to him. Duncan has some big paws to fill with this but he is working on it. I truly believed that Storm taught him many lessons.

It was one of the saddest and hardest decisions to make but I think it was the right one. He was in so much pain yet everything he did was to please us. Letting him go was for him not for us. I once saw a cartoon by Duncan Classics (yes we named our dog after that) once and I always remember it when I think of storm and I like to pass it on to anyone that loses one of their cats or dogs.

I had some left overs so I made a couple of my own designs. I think I like the top one most of all.

card class

Two more cards from my ctmh class. I never think to use the brads and dodads much but this was fun.

ctmh card class

I did a card class with my ctmh demo these are two of the cards we did.
The background is pretty cool. we used 3 stamps one diamond that is solid an outline and then in the top card there are smaller diamonds inside. we also used some punch outs for the flowers. not crazy about them but they were fun. Also the base was actually a cut up 9 x 9 scrap page

princess pages

Now normally I wouldn't do this girly kind of pages since I have a boy and i am so NOT a pink person. but I thought these pages would be good for Disney pictures.


Hubby and I went to Disney World for our 20Th anniversary last summer and these will work great for them.




we had dinner in the castle and I think those pictures will go great on here.



sorry I was so lazy taking pictures I didn't take them out of the page protectors. Its been a crazy couple of weeks at work and I have been just to pooped to do much when I get home.

carnations

A few weeks back I spent the afternoon with a friend stamping and chatting. I had to make a few cards for an eyelet swap. I used a make an impression stamp (store recently closed) and some punches to make the flower. added sponging around the edges and then layered. the eyelets were a nice copper so I needed some ribbon to go with it. luckily my friend has a wonderful stash of ribbon and this was perfect for this card.

Flower soft meets thomas kinkade

I love Thomas Kinkade's work so I just had to have a couple of stamps that came out. This one is perfect with use of the flower soft product.

The stamps are a little tough to color, lots of details and color.
I had a couple of friends wondering about the flower soft product so I had to make a couple of samples to pass on to them.

pages galore

Its been a busy month I took 2 extra scrap booking classes but I couldn't resist.





the punchout flowers really worked well on these pages.

Last of the cards I did at a workshop with the kit I earned from my close to my heart demo. No stamping just lots of paper and embellishments. I did run some inks over the large flower to give it some highlights.

Did these at my Close to my heart scrap booking class. I just love them.

I have a boy so I was thrilled to do some boy pages. But after doing them I think they will be perfect for Disney World pictures.
Toy Story and buzz lightyear come to mind for some of them.




But these two will be perfect for Tinkerbell pictures.
